The Twilight Zone -You will be on a journey into the wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination – your next stop, “The Twilight Zone.” We’ll first explore the background of the man behind this ground-breaking television series and what prompted him to delve into this unique dramatic vehicle. Rod Serling was a master of exploring the human condition and his stories often ended with ironic twists. We will then watch one of his classic 30 minute episodes followed by an interactive discussion of the show and his techniques.

Alfred Hitchcock Presents – Sir Alfred Hitchcock has been acknowledged as “The Master of Suspense.” To understand how he reached this pinnacle of acclamation, we will explore his background that ultimately led to six decades of  directing over fifty feature films, many of which are now regarded as classics. He also masterminded ten years as host (and occasional director) of 360 episodes of the television anthology series Alfred Hitchcock Presents (1955-62) and The Alfred Hitchcock Hour (1962-65). His stories were riveting and full of ironic twists that surprised, amused, and confounded viewers. We will watch one of his classic 30 minute episodes followed by an interactive discussion of the show and his techniques.
